« E roude Fuedem duerch de roude Buedem » - audio projects.

True to the motto "Remix culture", the art collectif MASKéNADA from Luxemburg has revived the images of women from old stories and legends for the European Capital of Culture Esch2022. With old legends, inspired by Mil Goerens book of "Eiser Soen", 6 different projects were developed in 6 selected southern municipalities throughout 2022: 4 live walking-theater-trails & 2 audio-walk-trails in the municipalities of Esch, Beetebuerg, Suessem, Diddeleng, Monnerech and Déifferdeng.

After Esch2022, so for 2023, MASKéNADA wants to "remix" this new legend-remix-trails" through the beautiful mystical Minett nature, sustainably for a second time! In this way, each project of the "Red thread through the red soil", will be completely digitally adapted into 6 listening/audio-projects and made available on one single APPLICATION - called "Roude Fuedem".

On this APP you will find our 6 audio-tracks of the project
"A red thread through the red soil":
- 4 of the projects are audio-trails where you have to scan QR codes on the spot to listen to the stories.
- 2 of the projects are short bonus tracks which will only be unlocked on the App once you have listened to 2 and 4 of the audio-trails.

Legends and stories contain a lot of valuable information of the time, of the people, of their ideas, of experiences. They shouldnt be forgotten - thats why theyre going on the journey with us again: through the red soil, they pull themselves like a red thread that continues to be spun, until it even connects in the digital world.

6 audio trails will be launched together with the app :
- Esch/Ellergronn:
The silvery red dress
- Beetebuerg/Obeler: Nuetsgejäiz & Bëschgepëspers
- Suessem/Zolwerknapp: Déi rout Drëps - Wat kucks du?
- Diddeleng/Haard:
Malleus Maleficarum 2.2
- Monnerech/Biergem: Ouni Kapp
- Déifferdeng/Lasauvage: Zowaasch
